new Delhi. Mahindra is offering discounts and benefits on the SUV line-up to increase its sales in July. After the lockdown, almost all dealerships have resumed operations, the company is offering a discount of Rs 3.05 lakh tax on its models to woo customers, although the actual benefits vary depending on the model and variant. Let’s know how much discount Mahindra is giving on which SUV ….
1. Mahindra Alturas G4, benefits up to Rs 3.05 lakh
Mahindra’s larger 7-seater flagship SUV, the Alturus G4, is equipped with many advanced features and is priced lower than its main rivals such as the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavor. For July this SUV is getting a benefit of up to Rs 3.05 lakh, which includes a cash discount of Rs 2.4 lakh and an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000.
When the prices for the BS6 Mahindra Alturus G4 were announced, it was only available in the four-wheel drive variant. Now customers also have the option of its more economical two-wheel drive variant.
2. Mahindra XUV300, benefit up to 65 thousand rupees
The Mahindra XUV300 (sub-four meter SUV) was the first model to follow the BS6 emission norms after upgrading the 1.2-liter turbo-petrol variant late last year. The XUV300 comes with a powerful package, with a 1.5-liter diesel engine and a variety of equipment, which are available in all variants although the high variant is slightly more expensive. While a 6-speed manual is standard on both engines, the diesel engine also offers a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The XUV300 diesel model is getting a benefit of up to Rs 42,500, including an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. According to the variant, a discount of up to Rs 65,000 is being given on the petrol model.
3. Mahindra KUV100 NXT, benefit up to 62 thousand rupees
Mahindra’s entry-level model stands out from the crowd thanks to its unique 6-seater configuration. It is now fully available with BS6 compliant petrol engine, KUV can get a cash discount of up to Rs 33,000. Buyers are being offered an additional Rs 20,000 as exchange bonus on changing their old vehicles.
4. Mahindra XUV500, benefits up to Rs 39 thousand
The Mahindra XUV500 is also available with the BS6 engine, but its lineup has been heavily tweaked. The SUV is now available only with Mahindra’s 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine and a manual gearbox. The automatic transmission and all-wheel drive variants have been removed from the line-up. Up to Rs 39,000 is being given to customers on the SUV.
5. Mahindra Scorpio, benefits up to 30 thousand rupees
The Scorpio line-up with the XUV500 has also been replaced with the BS6 being compliant. The old 2.5-liter diesel is no longer available and the 2.2-liter diesel is now available in single state and is also missing the four-wheel drive option. Up to Rs 30,000 benefit is being offered to customers on Scorpio. A new model is also expected to arrive by next year.
6. Mahindra Bolero, benefit up to Rs 13500
The Bolero is one of the older models of Mahindra, which has been in the market for a long time. It too has been upgraded as per BS6 emission norms. Now only available in sub-four-meter form, the Bolero comes with a 1.5-liter mHawk75 diesel engine. It can seat 7 people comfortably. Benefit of up to Rs 13,500 is being given on BS6 Bolero this month.
