An official said that the app-CVD tracker will identify those people who have been asked to remain isolated at home.

The official said, ‘Each separate app user will be surrounded within a radius of 50 meters of the space to be kept separately and such users will have to upload a selfie every hour. Through the system, then the place kept separate from them and the place from which they uploaded selfies will be matched. ‘

The official said that if a user is kept out of the limited scope, then the administration will receive an alert in the control room and a warning message will be sent to the user. Also said that strict action will be taken against the violator like registering an FIR.The control room of the administration will receive an alert even if the phone is turned off and punitive action will be taken against the user. An all-time control room has been set up in which a team will work to monitor people kept in separate habitats.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate of the Information Technology Department, Nishik Kumar said that the number of people to be kept separate in future may increase and this app will make it easier for health and police departments to locate isolated people with the help of GPS location.
He said that any kind of omission or unauthorized activity will immediately alert the concerned SDM, police as well as the person concerned. Strict action will be taken against the violator.
