The two new smartphones are successors of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S and Redmi Note 7 Pro, which were launched in India earlier this year. While Redmi Note 8 comes as an incremental update on Redmi Note 7S, Redmi Note 8 Pro offers a great update on the predecessor.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro model of 6GB and 64GB is priced at Rs 14,999. The high-end variants with 6 GB, 128 GB and 8 GB, 128 GB cost Rs 15,999 and Rs 17,999 respectively. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 4GB, model 64GB and 6GB, 128GB costs Rs 9,999 and Rs 12,999.
Airtel offers a double data offer on Redmi Note 8 Pro and Redmi Note 8 smartphones through Rs 249 and Rs 349 recharges. Amazon India also includes an instant 10% discount offer on both phones as part of its sale special in progress of the Great Indian Festival of Diwali.
